Support Services at AMMC
Position Summary: The Central Supply Tech fulfills departmental needs by filling stock requisitions and preparing stock items for patient care, provides in-coming and out-going mail service. Unloads freight as shipments arrive into department. Applies patient charge tags correctly and stocks shelves according to item number. Fills store requisitions and product requests from departments. Periodically cleans shelves and monitors expiration dates of products to ensure a safe and clean department. Provides customer service to others entering department. Sorts and distributes incoming mail among departments and staff. Assists with maintaining established departmental policies and procedures for quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards.
Required Education/Training/Experience:
• High school education or equivalent required
• On-the-job training will be provided, prior experience in similar field preferred.
• Cross training is provided and strongly encouraged for all C.S. techs to fill in as others’ absences requires
Position Summary:
• Reviews and abstracts data from Medical Records. Ensures completion and accuracy of key nursing and physician documentation in the Medical Record.
• Assures accuracy of Arkansas Medicaid Log and filing of insurance letters of certifications and denials.
• Responsible for concurrently reviewing and coordinates all inpatient stays for the appropriateness of admission and continued stay (according to intensity of service and severity of illness criteria). Assists with issuing Medicare denial letters when necessary. Responsible for chart abstraction studies for certain payer groups. Assist with delivery of important messages from Medicare.
• Facilitates D/C planning efforts through early identification of high risk patients. Facilitates communications and continuity of care between reference agencies and hospital. To assess the patient’s needs and desires regarding quality of life following hospitalization.
Required Education/Training/Experience: A minimal of a Licensed Practical Nurse with computer skills a must. Clinical knowledge in the review of patient’s records. A minimal of two years nursing experience.

Required Education/Training/Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years clinical ministry experience. 5 years clinical ministry experience preferred.
Education: Master of Divinity degree or equivalent from an accredited seminary or university. Four units/credits of Clinical Pastoral education from an accredited CPE center.
Licensure: Eligible for endorsement through the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).
Responsible for preparing and serving meals for clients of the hospital facility and other duties as assigned. Must maintain standards as outlined by Arkansas Health Department and the Director of Food-Nutrition/Dietary. Expected to model appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC’s Mission/Vision Statement and that reflects a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
Experience in Food and Nutrition preferred.
Prefer previous healthcare housekeeping experience

A Paramedic who works under the direction of a physician and protocols/standing orders in the field to provide safe skilled age-appropriate care to patients. Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation evaluation of pre-hospital paramedic care, within the objectives, standards and policies of the medical center and within the scope of his or her preparation.
Requirements:
Current verified license as an Arkansas paramedic. ACLS, PALS, ITLS (or equivalent) required. (ITLS or its equivalent and PALS must be obtained within one year.) CPR certified. Must maintain insurability with AMMC Insurance Provider.
An EMT who works under the direction of a physician and a paramedic with protocols/standing orders in the field to provide safe skilled age appropriate care to patients. Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation evaluation of paramedic/nursing care, within the objectives, standards and policies of the medical center and within the scope of his or her preparation. Requirements:
Current verified licensure as an Arkansas EMT and current driver’s license. (ITLS or its equivalent required within 1 year.) CPR certified. Must maintain insurance eligibility through company insurer.
The Secretary/Receptionist must be medical /clerical competent; deliver care to patients utilizing established policies, procedures and protocols; effectively interact with patients, families, visitors and other staff members while maintaining standards of laboratory professionals.
Must have a high school diploma (Minimum). Medical Office Experience preferred
